Adobe Fonts not loading or adding in Illustrator

Explorer ,
Apr 14, 2025 Apr 14, 2025

Some previously activated/added Adobe Fonts are not loading in the font menu when Illustrator loads. The fonts appear to be available to add in the "Find More" tab. When clicking the add icon, the double arrow icon shows as if the font is installing, yet it never does install.

I have taken the following actions:

Restarted Illustrator

Updated Illustrator

Restarted PC

Signed out and back in

Opened and quit and reopened the Adobe Creative Cloud app

I am on Windows 11 with Illustrator 29.4

I didn't do any of that. What randomly worked was going into Adobe Font in browser, and manually removing and re-adding the font from there.

Note that the fonts load and work in Photoshop.

Hello @brandon_4545,

Would you mind trying the following steps and checking if they help:

  • Close all Adobe applications
  • Remove the Creative Cloud Desktop application, CCLibrary, and CoreSync using the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool (https://adobe.ly/4jdJaKu)
  • Reinstall the Creative Cloud Desktop application (https://adobe.ly/4jdoKBo)
  • Relaunch Illustrator

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Anubhav
