Advice needed on studying for the Adobe Illustrator Certification CC 2015

CC 2015 is a big step back in time. I hate to waste money (and time) on study materials for a version from 3 years ago.

Are the questions pretty basic to where the version really doesn't make a difference between 2015 and 2018? I am an experienced user and wanted to brush up on my skills- perfering to study the 2018 version.

How often do they update the tests?

    Adobe used to update the tests every version, but slowed down once CC arrived. They are probably dues since this a big gap, There are a variety of levels to the questions and many do not pass their first attempt. I really cannot say more, but below is a practice exam published by Adobe.
