After I download latest update for Illustrator CC, I get error 205 and it won't open.

I'm currently using Illustrator CC 2018 and Photoshop CC 2018 and have been getting error 205 everytime I try to update. I've started up in safe boot mode and still same error. I've locked and unlocked the keychain. I've logged out of user and back in. I've tried both browsers firefox and safari. My firewall settings are off. The Photoshop update also won't open. Any other ideas??

Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind sharing version of OS?
I see you have performed some troubleshooting but it did not help. I'd request following steps on help article https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/fix-licensing-error-205.html and let us know how it goes. You can skip the steps you've already tried.
