AI 2019 crashes while closing the file after inserting text on Windows 10

Hi everyone,

I just installed AI2019 on the recent actualization of windows 10 .

The problem is that as soon as i write any type on a file, and i want to close the file, it crashes and close the program.

Please help!

Do you use font management?

Does this happen with every font?

I dont use any font management, and yes, i tried a lot of differents fonts and still happening

What kind of fonts did you try? Freefonts? Quality fonts?

• Submit crash logs by following these steps: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/illustrator/kb/crash-next-steps.html
• Where the files are saved (Network Drive/ System HDD/ Shared Folder on System /External HDD)?
• When did this start happening? Are there any recent changes made to your system? For example, any antivirus, system updates or web extensions installed recently.
• Does resetting Illustrator preferences (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/illustrator/using/setting-preferences.html) help resolve the issue?

Please note that resetting preferences will remove all the custom settings and Illustrator will launch with default settings. You can also take a backup of the folders in case you want to. Location is mentioned in the article.
