AI generated repeatable patterns

Is there a way to use AI to generated a repeatable vector pattern from an image? I want to convert a png abstract pattern into a vector that can then be tiled. Possible?

You can autotrace the PNG. But then you cannot use that shape to make a pattern. In Text to pattern you cannot choose style references
