Align Issues After 2018 Update

I'm having issues centering my layer or selection to the Artboard, or key-object. Video attached.

    Just giving an update to this.

    After hours of troubleshooting and Adobe support having NO clue why this was occuring. It seems that .svg files made in AI 2017 and earlier are not supported in 2018 for aligning. I had to remake all my SVG's.

    I'm not able to replicate the issue. You could try saving, closing and reopening Illustrator or try resetting preferences. How to set preferences in Illustrator

    I tried resetting preferences, and reinstalling illustrator completely. It does this on 2 PC's, but sometimes it doesn't do it at all... Very frustrating.

    Yes. I have also tried creating a rectangle, setting it as the Key Object and aligning to it does not work. Placing a PDF, EPS, or .AI works perfectly.


    Sounds like it’s time to contact adobe directly.
