All text layers are invisible with 2021 update

All text layers are invisible with the 2021 update.

The text layers are still there, the layer is set to visible, but the text does not display in the docs. They also appear to have no text color, but selecting a text color makes no difference.

Importing the old preferenes has caused issues for a lot of people.

Youmight want totry and reset them.

Rename the folder as described in here: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/setting-preferences.html

Hey thanks, everyone! Whatever was going on, seems to have disappeared. Now the text has returned to all the docs today.

Can you share a part of the document that shows the problem?

CC filesharing, Dropbox, WeTransfer, Google...

Is this a newly created document or an old one?

Did you reset the preferences when updating?

These are all docs created in Illustrator 2020.

I always import my previous preferences when upgrading to a new version.
