An unknown error has occurred

Hello!

With every illustrator file I try to save I get an error that reads "an unknown error has occurred" and the file won't save at all, anywhere. I have tried different formats and printing it too, does not work either.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled with same problems. I work with windows 11.

Can anyone help me?

What happens if you reset the preferences, following the instructions here?

You can also take a backup of the folders in case you want to. Location is mentioned in the article.
