App crashes when using the eyedropper

I see there is a longer distant past chat about this but today and twice in succession the app crashed while employing the eyedropper tool on the second occasion I lost the work (no big deal as I have a copy). Why is this happening and is the Adobe team aware?

Hi Anubhav just to close the loop on this. Prompted by a complete crash of my iMac requiring action to wipe my hard drive I bit the bullet and invested in a new more powerful device. With 33GB RAM andan external 2TB SSD I am no longer experiencing the crashes I had before so we can say this issue is closed. I have though had to reload all my Apps and in the process have encountered some issues. Notably missing colour profiles in Color Look Up. I attach a screenshot. I realise I am starting a new issue but I cannot easilly find where I go to commence a fresh post. Thanks.
