Applescript: delete compound paths?

I process a ton of artwork and I am looking for an applescript that will find and delete these "invisible" compound paths that are in my art. Or if anyone has a suggestion on how I might automate this process :)

Compound paths are not necessarily invisible. Are you talking about clipping paths?

Hmmm. Maybe I am. The only way to find them is by using the sub selection tool (white arrow) and then deleting them.
