Are Action Shortcuts visible in "Edit" mode in AI CC (23.0)?

Also, has the "Button Mode" menu item been moved to the top where it belongs?

The answer to both of your questions is no unfortunately. Non-button mode still doesn't show the shortcuts and the Bottom mode option is still at the bottom of the list. Adobe InDesign lets you sort menu options alphabetically by holding down Shift+Option+Cmd (Mac) or Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Windows) even in panel menus but I realized that Illustrator doesn't have this. Uhhhg! So much for application consistency!
