Hi.

Can anyone direct me on how I should change my 50mm x 50mm square art board into a round art board, as im trying to make a round label and must export this into my label software which is round. The label is 50mm diamiter and it need to go into the label software round as it will over print onto the backing and smudge on my finger possibly damaging the finished artwork. so I need to some how cut a 50mm circle from the 50mm square box

You dont't need to change artboard shape. Even more you can't change artboard shape to rounded.

Just prepare rounded rectangle and set this fill - it's your working area. If you save your label as ai, pdf, eps or even png - your artwork will save without background. this way your "artboard" will be rounded
