Aspect ratio for AI generated text to vector images

Is there a way to change the aspect ratio from square to wide with the text to vector function in Adobe Illustrator? 

Separately, is there a way to iterate on an idea? Giving an initial prompt, and then asking it to change some details about what it's created.

You can draw a rectangle in the proportions you want, have it selected and then generate the image.

The dimensions might still not match exactly.

Unfortunately the method still has some limits. It won't generate images in extreme proportions.

That still doesn't work for me. I keep getting a square even though I have a rectangle selected.
