Screenshot 2025-09-14 at 10.01.10 PM.pngI’m trying to figure out how to make the text transparent on the design behind, like a cutout. Is there a way to do that?

@christopher_5203 to make your life easier, I would select the text and convert them to outlines. Keyboard shortcuts, Command Shift O (MAC) or Control Shift O (PC) - or the menu Type -Create Outlines. With the text still selected, hold the Shift key and select the black shape, and you want to make a compount path, Command 8 (MAC) or Control 8 (PC) . This was all done through the keyboard shortcuts. You can also do this through the Pathfinder tools as well.

Christopher,

With the question answered, I believe you may be happier if you lower the TWU so he outer upper corners of T and U are within the black path, maybe with a distance to the outer boundary more or less like at the bottom; you can move it down (too far and then a wee bit up) in small increments until it looks best to you.
