Good day all, if I remember correctly there used to be a way to have illustator auto embed images. The company I work for needs images embedded and now the last few files I have done the images are not automatically embedded. Am I rembering the auto embed correctly or am I mistaken?
You can still do that when saving (as) a file. Just turn on the corresponding option.
Or are you talking about embedding an image while you are placing it in Illustrator? In that case there is an option to link or embed it in the Place Dialog.
