Autocad hatch to Illustrator

Hi,

I need help. I've hatched areas in AutoCad (solid, independent layers) and when I export PDF to Illustrator, it doesn't detect my solid hatches. It chooses random shapes which is tedious to change/ select. What do I do?

Hatches in ACAD are parametric or texture overlays. You may simply need to convert them to proper lines in ACAD or flatten them to pixel data. Check your export settings.
