axe milieu d'une forme

Question

Bonjour, je recheche une fonctionnalité que j'ai vu passer (très rapidement) sur une vidéo

c'est complité a expliquer car je suis amatrice et je n'ai pas les terme technique

pour expliquer un mieux je jais prendre des explemple

je dessine un trait large (70pt), ce qui donne visuelement un rectangle mais en vrai c'est un trait car si je fais crtl Y je vois seulement un axe

Maintenant si je fais objet -> decompser -> contour, je me retrouver avec un rectancle visuellemnt et même avec crtl Y et je n'ai plus cet axe du depuis

Est-il possible de retrouver cet axe ?

ci dessus ce sont des exmple pour expliquer car si j'ai ce cas je fait annuler 😉

en fait je cherche a retouver l'axe sur des formes

je c'est pas si je suis assez clair

Pas de souci j'avais pris les rectangles en exemple mais c'est vrai que c'était pas le meilleur exemple car c'est une forme assez simple

comment est-ce que je fais pour couper la forme à ses points et essayer de mélanger les deux tracés

As I (mis)understand it both ends are pointed, and in thsa case you can make it as follows (always keep a backup of the original artwork and work on a copy), Smart Guides are your friends:

1) Hide the original pointed path and select the copy path;

1) Click both the Anchor Points that form the ends of the shape with the Scissors Tool, this will give you two open paths;

2) Select both paths with the normal Selection Tool, then set the Blend options to 1 specified step, then Make the Blend.

This ought to give you the centre path midway between the paths in the sides; you can use that with the original closed path.

You could open the Attributes panel, then Select "Show options" from the menu. Select your rectangle and with the button on the left turn on the center point.

You could also Object > Shape > Convert to shape, which will also show the center.
