Batch image trace?

Enthusiast ,

How can I do batch image trace in Adobe Illustrator? I'm using CC 2020. I tried the Adobe Bridge method but nothing happens when I click on the image trace button which is accessible via

Tools>Illustrator>Image trace.

My bridge and illustrator are up to date.

Works as expected for me.

I started up Illustrator.

I open a folder with images in Bridge, choose Tools > Illustrator > Image Trace...

A dialog comes up and after some setting up, the images got traced.

The only thing after tracing was to expand the tracing result. Which can be done with an Action and Batch.

Did you check in Bridge Preferences:

Startup Scripts > Illustrator Automation CC is checked?

File Type Associations > Illustrator (.ai, .ait) associated with your verion of Illustrator?

I checked in preference, everything is checked including illustrator CC 2020. What should I do now? All options had been ticked already. I opened this panel for the first time ever in my life.

If noeone else here comes up with a solution, you may ask this also in the Bridge forum (and give a link to this conversation).

I came across this post while running into a similar problem.  My error was that I did not "Select All" as the first step, so there was nothing selected for the Expand command during the batch.  After I edited the Action to include a selection, it worked for me.
