I've been having a problem recently when I place a bitmap image on a page save it (save as illustrator file), then open said illustrator file in Photoshop to rasterize it, it jumps (moves) half way or sometimes all the way of the page. When I open said illustrator file again in illustrator and re save it (save as illustrator file), take it then into photoshop rasterize it, it then is in the right position. Has anyone ever experianced this and if so, how did you fix it?

Good day Ton, I have to supply the Printers a Tiff file. So a better exsample would be I step up a 150x300mm size tiff/pdf onto a 2500x1250mm sheet. Add my fiducials on one layer, add my cut lines on a second layer and on the last layer I have my stepped up artwork. I switch of my cut layer (as we don't want that showing up on the print) and save the file as a Illustrator file. I then take it into photoshop and rasterize it, flatten and save as tiff for the printers. The saving as Tiff allows us to do a last double check that file is set to CMYK, image quality is good and sizes are correct.
I recently got a new PC and all programes were reinstalled fresh. The problem only started happening from Saturday.
