blurred color - mixed effect

Hi guys,

I would like to know if someone can help me on how to realise the effect : the bright "blurred" colors around the text (images below)?  I am new on illustrator so if you can explain me steps by steps, I would be grateful :)!

For example, it looks more like the Photoshop Font effect.
