Blurry e-mail signature file

Hi All,

I have created a logo in which is made of text only for a Mac e-mail signature. It looks fine in AI and on the mail itself but once it has been sent it looks blurry on the received e-mail. Is this to do with the format it has been Exported out as? I have tried all formats (png, ai, jpg etc). Does anyone have any advice?

what are its pixel dimensions? what does the exported raster image look like at your end -- blurry or not (and how are you viewing it)? can you post it here?

Pixel dimensions are 684 x 355px

Viewing it initially in AI and PS where it looks ok but looks blurry on a mail sent to an alternative address.

might the email server be compressing images? can you show the blurry version?
