Brush pressure illustrator and tablet Huion HS611

With the tablet Huion HS611 the brush pressure runs perfectly on Photoshop but NOT on Illustrator. What can I do? Huion is not solving my problem. Im a doing something wrong? (Huion: Driver_15.2.13.523 - MacOs Big Sur 11.1 - Illustrator 25.1). I have tried anything in illustrator: creating new brushes of al kind, but no pressure in any case.

All I can tell you is that it works for me.

I have set it up with their help. I have got on their nerves until it worked. But still I have the Wacom driver on top of the Huion one and there are dozens of settings in the system. I don't know if you have set up all of them.

 

There is a Wacom setting in the Illustrator preferences, you could try and switch that on or off or whatever and see if it makes a difference.

 

So: it can work and it does work. Still their driver might need some improvement.


I have just installed  the Wacom Intuos Pro Driver.

And, although, no tablet is detected, NOW THE BRUSH PRESSURE IS WORKING !

Finally !

The wacom setting in Illustrator is activated now.

I will tell Huion to improve there driver.

You can try if it helps when you install a Wacom driver on top of the Huion driver. This is a hack. Pleae tell us if it works.

I have already done this.

A lot of mails and videos from both sides to go through all the steps an specifications, drivers, privacy settings, etc.

No solution.

The last mails form Huion was: "This is caused by software compatibility issues. We suggest you use Photoshop. We will try to improve the driver. Contact Adobe."

Sorry, but I mentioned Ilustrator in one of these mails because Photohop works perfectly.

It is an issue with Illustrator in my opinion.

As a user I do not see what more I can do. 😞

I need to work with the brushes in Illustrator and could change to Wacom, but I am not sure not to have the same problem.
