Hi everyone, I’m experiencing an issue with Adobe Illustrator and would like to ask for help:
When I open the same .ai file for the first time, everything looks perfectly aligned. But after closing and reopening the file, all layer content shifts upward, as if the whole layout has moved. This is especially noticeable in areas that involve the artboard edges, clipping masks, or placed images.
I've already embedded all images (not linked), so that shouldn’t be the issue.
Could this be caused by a particular setting, or is it a bug in certain versions of Illustrator? Has anyone else run into something similar? 🙏

What happens if you lock everything in place, save the file, close, then re-open? Do they still move when reopened? I know this isn't a fix but just wanted to see if that makes a difference..?

In my latest .ai file, images that include clipping masks, embedded images, or are on locked layers all shift upward the second time I open the file.
But after I manually fix the positions and save again, everything looks normal from the third open. Super weird. :cyclone:

Hello @balanced_teacher3748,
Could you confirm the version of the OS/Illustrator installed, if this happens with all files, and share a link to a sample file along with a screen recording of the problem, after uploading them to a file-sharing service, so I can try and replicate this on my end?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
