Question

Can designs containing Adobe fonts be used for commercial use after CC subscription ends?

Hello ,
Is it legal to use Adobe fonts to design a logo for a client’s brand as a freelance work or for printed materials such as T-shirts, flyers, etc. to sell?
If the answer is yes, what happens after my CC subscription ends?
Can the customer still use the logo that I designed for his brand?
Can I still sell my designs?

Thanks.

In the logo file you (hopefully, for several reasons) outline the font, so it can still be used.

In the other files you need to do that as well, because otherwise they will break after your subscription ends.

If the type is outlined, it should be no problem, if not and the client whishes to modify live type, he can buy a license for the font or use the font as part of a CC subscription.

If you select type with the pointer selection tool you can convert it to paths using Type > Create Outlines.

After that it is not type anymore but vector shapes.
