Can I align text to the baseline grid in Illustrator like I can in InDesign?

Normally I use InDesign to layout scientific posters that have large amounts of text. InDesign has an "align to baseline grid" feature that I love. I have a client who has asked me to layout their poster in Illustrator so that their in-house team can make updates as needed (they don't use InDesign). I'm using the "snap to grid" feature in Illustrator, but my paragraph baselines don't snap to the baseline grid. Can this even be done in Illustrator? Or is that feature unique to InDesign?

Thank you, but your answer is not what I'm looking for.

I've attached an illustration to help explain my issue.

Thanks, Monika. That's what I figured, but was hoping maybe I just couldn't find it.
