Question

Can I change the color of a pattern on Illustrator for iPad?

Hi! First time posting in here but I seem to be stumped... I'm trying to shift the color of a pattern on my iPad. For most things, I kind of prefer the hands on way that Illustrator works on the iPad. I'm curious if there is a way to change the color of the pattern on my iPad or if I will need to open it on my Mac? I know certain features are not quite available on the iPad version yet - but has anyone found a solution for this?

I tried googling but I just keep finding videos and references to how to edit swatches on the desktop version or how to create patterns on iPad. When I try to use the color changer, the pattern is shown but I don't see how to change the color of my pattern and tapping a color makes it a solid color rather than changing the color of the existing swatch.

Any help anyone could provide would be incredibly helpful!

Thank you so much!

Are you referring to the patterns that are used as swatches?

Or something differently?
