Can I turn a live paint group into a single path

I have a live paint group that I think would work better as a single path with no stroke and a fill. All the parts are contiguous. Is there a way to do this conversion?

I don't know the specifics and as Kurt Gold​ it would help to see the file, but you can always expand a live paint group under Object>LivePaint>Expand.

Illustrator is a vector based program. Once you use live paint you can expand it but it can never be one path with multiple colors.

If you want to convert it to one path. You need to expand live paint and use  pathfinder or or shape builder or compound to unite it to

one path.

The only way you can achieve one object with multiple colors in AI is to rasterizing it!
