I did a brochure freelance job and I used Baskerville URW from Adobe Fonts.
I heard I can use fonts in Adobe Fonts for commercial jobs, but what if my client doesn't have adobe? Does that make my client unable to use my work since it has Adobe Fonts' font?
1 Correct answer
If your client does not have an Adobe CC account he cannot edit the files, he will need you to do that.
But he can print and distribute the brochure (in pdf format) you made for him without problems.

What happens if I have an Adobe CC account and after a while I close it? I would no longer have access to programs and fonts, but would all my designs for commercial jobs be still valid? I mean, would the license for the designs made be active even though I would no longer have an Adobe CC?

Your work is your work and you own it.
Can you explain what you mean with: "would the license for the designs made be active even though I would no longer have an Adobe CC"?
You cannot edit your designs with Adobe apps when you don't have a license, but your work is still there with a free account.

For example, I design a logo for a business and I use Adobe Fonts. This is a commercial job because I'm earning money with it and so will do my client, because the logo will be the business' trademark. My question is:
Can my client keep on using the Adobe font in the logo for his brand if I close my Adobe CC account?
I don't know if closing my Adobe CC account I lose the right to keep on using the work I made for commercial job (I'm referring to printings like flyers, the logo watermark to put in images...), because I usually have to pay a license if I want to use a font.

Outline the font. It is never a good idea to have live text in a logo, you would always need (the same version) of the font.

It can always happen that the license for fonts in a subscription model like Adobe Fonts gets revoked. It has happened before and it can happen again - nobody wants it to happen, but the possibility exists. The service is great, but maybe not suitable for all kinds of projects, particularly projects that have a long lifespan such as branding or magazines, newspapers, stuff like that. So in those cases perpetual font licensing types might be more suitable.
That is something you need to keep in mind.

Thank you very much. I gather from your comment that if I close my Adobe CC account my rights to use my designs for commercial jobs (previously done with Adobe) that contains fonts from Adobe Fonts get revoked too, right?

You will have the rights for your design, but you will lose the right to use the live fonts. Outline them to avoid this or obtain a separate license for the fonts.
