Can locate Adobe Preferences Folder for Illustrator CC 2021 on Mac OS 10.15.7 after reinstall

hi,

I have had to do a complete reinstall of my Mac OS and my Creative Cloud apps.

My problems is that I can not find the correct folder to copy back my saved Preferences files for workspaces, keyboard shortcurts etc.

Could anyone please advise?

I have tried:

1. Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support

and

2. Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe

in this one there are folders for other Adobe applications but nothing for Illustrator CC 2021.

I have looked in the folders related to

3. Macintosh HD / Applications / Adobe Illustrator 21

but there is nothing there.

Illustrator CC 2021 is installed: it works, opens, saves files etc.

But I can not see where to copy back in my files for preferences, workspaces and keyboards shortcuts.

I took a screenshot of where the files used to be on my computer prior to having to reinstall the OS but it doesn't seem to be there.

Thanks for any advice.

Correct answer amandathompson

My mistake: I was looking at the wrong Library folder on the Mac.

If this information helps anyone else, here is a link to how to reveal the Library folder on a Mac which is by default hidden or greyed out in the Go Menu:

https://www.howtogeek.com/678112/how-to-find-your-library-folder-on-a-mac/

"In Finder, when you click on the Go menu at the top of the screen, “Library” usually isn’t present on the list. But if you hold down the Option key when you click “Go,” “Library” will appear."

My issue is now resolved.
