Can only use Black and White
I've seen some problems with strokes converting to black and white. My problem is that even the swatch only offers black, white, and empty. How do I fix this?

Probably caused by opening a non-Illustrator file (like an image).
Those do not contain swatches.
Load them from the swatches panel menu.
