Can't close Illustrator

Sometimes I am unable to close Illustrator and I must use Windows kill command to close it otherwise Windows can shutdown and poweroff the PC.

How can I solve this issue ?
I have Illustrator version 29.4 (64 bit) on Windows 11 (24H2) on HP workstation Z2 G9.

Hello @Cristina ParcoPan,

Could you check if the problem persists if you run Illustrator under a different administrator account (Windows)?
Also, check if you have any antivirus software running, temporarily disabling it and share your observations.

I can't work with an administrator account, I only work with a normal user not administratro. May be this the problem ?

I have installed Kaspersky Endpoint Security as Antivirus Software. Do you know issue with it ?

Thanks for confirming. Sometimes, antivirus software can cause conflicts with user applications. Could you try temporarily disabling it or running Illustrator under Safe Mode (Windows) and checking if it helps?
