Hi! I just upgraded illustrator so the top area that usually has stroke size and font ect is missing a few things that I use all of the time. One is the window that shows size. For example when I click on a text box, that area would show up with height and width of the text selected. Please tell how to get that back. Thank you!
You need to delete some of the features you don't need from the control panel. To the very right there's a menu that allows you to uncheck options and frees up space.

Hi! So I did that but I am not even seeing the option to view the size. Where is that located?

Sometimes it just shows the word "Transform" which is clickable instead of the Width and Height values.
Can you see that in your dock? A screenshot would be very helpful as said before.

So, before I upgraded, when I highlighted the text somewhere around stroke on middle bar would say Height and Width.

Can you please show a screenshot of the panel menu so we can see what you already deactivated?

Do you need the "Snap to Pixel" controls?
Try and turn them off.

that didn't work, but I kept turning off other options until it came up. Thanks!
