Hi there,
I'm not getting any answers when I searched the community post here. So, am creating a new post.
I'm not able to open my illustrator program even though its been updated to the latest version.
So, I tried to unistall using both on my windows control panel and also the via the creative cloud desktop app. It failed. It kept showing that there is a conflict in uninstalling the program.
Why is illustrator always having some kind of issues? Can someone here help me on this please?
Much appreciated!
Thank You!
Regards,
Sunil

Did you try the CC Cleaner tool?

Hi Ton,
No. I've downloaded it and chose option 4. I'm yet to restart my desktop.
I'll let you know if it has worked.
But why is illustrator in particular having these kind of issues? Noticed that each time I do an update on this I will not be able to launch it. I would have to restart my desktop in order to launch it. At times it just doesn't open.
Thanks.
Regards,
Sunil

Hi Ton,
It seems to have worked. But seriously why the need to go through these steps to recover the illustrator program?

Good to hear that helped, but what causes the corruption, it can be anything with software. I personally never needed the cleaner tool.

Hi Ton,
Unfortunately, its still not working.
A few days later, when I tried to open illustrator, its the same thing again.
This is very frustrating!

Hello @V.Sunil,
I'm sorry to hear that you're still experiencing issues with Illustrator. It can indeed be frustrating when software doesn't work as expected.
I see that you reached out to our support, and they recommended not having multiple antivirus programs installed on your computer. If you have more than one antivirus program, it's a good idea to disable or uninstall one of them. Additionally, you can add Illustrator and other Adobe apps & processes as an exception in programs like Trend Micro and McAfee. This should help prevent any conflicts that might be causing issues with Illustrator. Also, ensure that you are using the latest version of Trend Micro, as there was some issue with the older version, which caused Illustrator to crash.
Please give this a try, and hopefully, it will resolve the problems you've been experiencing with Illustrator. If you have any further questions or encounter any more issues, don't hesitate to reach out for assistance.
Best,
Anshul Saini
