Can't preview illustration[Renamed]

Since my recent update to AI CC I am having some troubles. I keep getting a "Can't preview illustration" error message even when in the simplest AI file. And when I double click on my AI files...they are opening in Adobe Photoshop. Please help...I pay too much per month to be dealing with restarting all the time.

    We have the fix available in the latest release. Please update Illustrator using Adobe Creative Cloud application to the latest build for version Illustrator CC 23.0.1

    I have tried the link to contact customer support.  When following the steps on that page and asked which program to begin a chat, I select Illustrator.  When Illustrator is selected the "chat" option is not available. As I clearly stated in my original post there is no option for an end user to contact Adobe Illustrator technical support by chat or phone. There is ZERO customer support for an app that Adobe charges over $55 monthly for use.  There are some issues with the current version of Illustrator. which I sincerely hope get resolved. At present the app will freeze, automatically quits for no reason, will not preview after several minutes, runs out of memory, etc...

    Apparently there is no way to contact Adobe directly to speak to tech support. Lot of bugs with the latest release. Cannot preview, the app quits, freezes, will not save files, runs out of memory, etc.. For the monthly fee Adobe charges for Illustrator the lack of customer support is unacceptable.

    I have been working with Illustrator since the original release in 1987. The current app is the worst of any Illustrator upgrade. I am going back to the previous version as I need to finish projects and meet customer deadlines which is impossible to do with Illustrator 23.0.

    While the build is prerelease this build is still of production quality. Please feel free to use/recommend it for your day to day activity.
