I am attempting to save a file I created in Illustrator 2020. The error message says: Can't save the illustration. You do not have enough access privileges. Error ID: -5000

Exactly where are you trying to save?

Basically this message tells you that your user privileges don't allow you to save in that folder. Change that in your system or save elsewhere.
