CAN'T SEE SHAPER TOOL

New Here ,
Aug 26, 2017 Aug 26, 2017

Please help me to rectify how to locate shaper tool in illustrator. I have reset essential interface of illustrator but can't still locate it. In the position where I could possibly see it, is where pencil tool is.  Please what next should I do to make the shaper too appear in my illustrator. I need advice urgently because I love how the too works and I have seen the movie on how to use it.

Have you tried the shortcut (Shift+M) or it should be in your Tool panel.

Never mind seems like it was answered in other posts.

Hi chio,

As per your query, you are unable to find shaper tool in Illustrator.

It's generally under the flyout menu where the pencil tool is located.

But if you do not find it, please press Shift+N it will be highlighted.

If it still does not work please try resetting preferences to defaults.

Please feel free to update the discussion if you need any further assistance

Hi,

It looks like you're using Illustrator CS6 from that screenshot. The shaper tool was introduced in Illustrator CC 2015, and thus won't be available in CS6.

Confirm two things for me: in your keyboard shortcuts, search for Shaper. What do you see?

Have a look at Help > About Illustrator. What is the exact version number?
