Can we re-package the same folder in illustrator?

New Here ,

I have packaged a working files and keep updating it afterwards.

Is there anyway I can repackage or copy all "external" link files to corresponding "internal" link file folders?

If I try to package the file again, it will always create a new folder. I tried to name the package the same name and location. It will also create a new folder.

Attached the screen cap. I tried to repackage "KC_Tentcard_active" folder and it created a new one "KC_Tentcard_active 0" if I tried to package the same folder location with the same folder name.

Any other alternative solution for that?

Many thanks.

Every time you use the Package comand, it will make a new folder.
I hope I understand you well! Do you need to update the same folder after editing the document?
If so, you can work on the ai file from the package and use the links in the links folder of the pachage.
