Can you constrain new artboards to the current layout arrangement?

Question

Not a biggy, but does anybody know if you can make new artboards fit your arrangement by default?

I have a file that I keep adding to, and I would like to keep it evenly spaced in seven columns.

I have to rearrange everything after I add a new one. This isn't a big issue, but these are imported into an InDesign document, and any shift in order would screw up my document.

You can add a keyboard shortcut to rearrange artboards.

However, if you add an artboard, say in position three, when you have twenty artboards, it will re-sort to the end (they sort in drawing order) unless you use the Artboard panel to change that order...
