Cannot remove transparency of objects

Hi,

The issue is that any object I create (e.g., rectangles, ellipses, and even texts) is transparent even though the opacity is set to 100% and the stroke/fill colors are set to a solid black, #000000.

There are no effects applied to the objects. I've also tried looking at the Appearance Window and opacity is set to 'Normal' and 100%.

I'm not sure what I've done to produce this error but I feel like I've tried everything to achieve a solid black color as it usually is in the past, but it doesn't seem like anything is working.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!

    The transparency could be applied at the Layers level; you can click the Layer, then look at the Appearance palette, and change transparency to 100% if lower, or dump the (line with the) lower value in the Appearance palette.

    I had the same issue but there was 4 groups on the same object, I realeased all the group and it reverted to a true 100%

    When you have Groups, they can look innocent enough in the Layers palette and yet contain paths or (sub)Groups with reduced opacity. Seemingly too late, but I wonder what you had found, had you looked into the Groups.
