Hi ! Im really a beginner regarding Ai and have no idea why im stuck at this point.
I created a puppet for character animator using several layers of an existing adobe puppet.
The mouth layer, for example, was copies fully into my puppet. Now... when Im trying to "create a new layer" on my mouth layer, the option is "off". I cannot press it.
can some one maybe suggest why ? and how to fix that ?

Target that +Mouth (click on the circle)
Then check the top left in the control panel.
This might be a group.

I have one more question about that - to make use of the picture already being uploaded.
As u can see, the body layer is under the head layer. but, what if I want to put his hands on his face ?
Right now, they go from behind his head.
Is there a way to put his hands ON his face yet still the body will be behind his head ?

As far as I remember the advice is to have a second pair of arms that you then switch as needed (hide the one that is behind and show the one that is in front)
But please do ask in the Character Animator forum since things change so fast with the app.
