Cant export SVG with transparent background (keeps adding white one)

Hi I have a logo I want to export with a transparent background in SVG format. However it keeps adding a white background, eventhough the illustrator file has a transparent one. It works perfectly when I export the file as PNG.

Can you tell me what I am doing wrong. I have attached the file.

In which app are you viewing the file so that you know it has that background?

I upload it to google drive and open it there. Or in preview on the macbook. Or inscape etc. Its across the board.

The problem is that if I export the logo with white lettering you cant see the logo anymore in the different apps, only in illustrator, which is not good.

There is no background in the SVG file. How are you determining that it has a white background? This is your file in Illustrator with the transparency grid showing:
