Hi there,
I have a lot of CC library files & they used to always open with the ruler in inches with no problem but now they always open with the ruler set to pixels. How do I make it stay in inches? It is very annoying to change the ruler 200 times in a day.
Thanks in advance if someone can help me 🙂

Thanks for reaching out. It sounds like the ruler units in your CC library files are defaulting to pixels instead of inches, causing inconvenience when working with them. The ruler units are typically tied to the document setup, so if the documents in your CC library are set to pixels, the ruler units will reflect that.
To address this issue, you may want to consider adjusting the document setup of your files within the CC library to use inches as the default unit. Unfortunately, if the documents are already set to pixels, you may need to manually adjust the ruler units each time you open them.
If you find this behavior problematic and would like to see improvements or a feature change, I recommend posting your feedback on the Illustrator UserVoice forum. This platform allows users to share their suggestions directly with the engineering team, who can then consider implementing changes based on user feedback.
Best regards,

This all started when I invited someone to my library who was using their rule set to pixels. I created all of the libraries in inches. I have no idea how this changed all of my files into pixels.
I will try posting to the forum you recommend. There should be a lock setting for the library creator or something. I've tried deleting and re-saving the files starting with inches but it just defaults back to pixels no matter what I do.
I am curious what you mean when you say "consider adjusting the document setup of your files within the CC library to use inches as the default unit" Is there a setting within the Library palette?
