Century Gothic 'Corrupting'

Century Gothic is installed on my mac, it is one of the base fonts used form my company designs (that and Montserrat). Suddenly it doesn't register the font and just changes it, without letting me know. When I have finished working on a file, save and re-open, Century Gothic has changed to something else (doesn't even give the font name in the character bar or highlight it as a missing font). When I copy and paste something from another file where Century Gothic is working correctly, it changes it to gibberish or won't let me type 'correctly'. I have tried re-starting, pulling original files and working directly from them in case of corruption, re-installing the font. I don't know what else to try. Below is an example of simply copying and pasting from one document to another, the actual type changes.

Hi @taneadrake,

Thanks for sharing the details and screenshots. I recommend clearing your Adobe font cache and checking for duplicate versions of Century Gothic installed on your Mac. If you're using Font Book or any third-party font management app, please ensure the font is activated consistently across all users or libraries. You could also try isolating the issue by restarting your Mac in safe mode or temporarily disabling Font Book or the third-party app to test if the issue persists. Reference(Safe Boot): https://adobe.ly/3EIwufA

Could you also let me know the exact macOS and Illustrator version you're working with, and whether this happens in all files or just this specific file? If you haven’t already, try creating a new file and check if the problem still occurs.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.
