Changing background color - Illustrator CC 2017 - Bug/Flaw?

Hi,

When I go to document setup and try to change the color ("Simulate Colored Paper"), then I select a color, and it does not change UNTIL I move the document out the screen (Space + Drag mouse), and drag it back, or when it's a bit off I do Ctrl + 0. Is that a bug? I think it should change immediately.

Hi David

You should be able to get the effect you are looking for by turning on Overprint Preview under the View Menu. When this feature is turned on Illustrator will try to preview what your art will look like when printed and will apply the color you chose in document setup.

Hope that helps
