Changing the radius of an L shaped corner.

I am bad at explaining this but I tried to use live corners to edit the radius inside my shape that is of an L shape (see picture attachted).

But it hasn't actually changed the shape it has just created an invisable outline. How do I get my black shape to follow this outline?
