Question

Clipping Mask disappears after restart program

Hi there,

i have a strange Problem or bug.

I create a pie graph an with the help of the clipping mask i create a Donut. In this way i can still change the data of the graph. Works perfect till here. The problem is when I close the file and open again the mask is gone and the donut is turned into the pie graph again. The mask itself is still there. But I have to undo the clipping mask and mask it again. If I would have to do just one pie chart would be no probelem. But will have to do about 60. And this will  kill a lot of tome then.

Thanks in advance!

Greetings

Oliver

Is this the sort of thing you mean?

I made this as a test, closed and reopened the file and all seemed well.

Can you reproduce this bug in a new file? Could you share it if so?

Thanks for yours! This is working here too.

I can't tell you what's going on if your file changes after you save it, but this is what I did:

1. Delete the two <Rectangle> items (they appear to be copies of part of the clipping mask)

2. Ungroup the compound path and graph.

3. Create (or recreate) a clipping mask with the compound path and graph.

4. Save the file. It opened the same as I saved it.
