I am attempting to use the pen tool on a jpg to create a clipping mask. The Mask path is always off. When I hold hold "ctrl" it shops the path but it is not exactly as the path I draw with the pen tool. I have attached a picture of jpg without any paths, a screenshot of the path and what is produced when I do the clipping mask. On the screenshot for the clipping mask in illustrator, I attempt to move the points to where I exactly put the anchor points for the path but it goes back to where it was. Can someone provide a solution to this. Thanks!

So when you create the clipping mask, the path goes off? Exactly what are you doing step by step?
