Clipping Mask??

I want to clip the sun rays around the bottle and the mountains. Can someone tell me know this would work??

do I understand well that you want to have rays only inside the bottle, between the bottle's shape and the mountains?

Then yes, it's a case of Clipping Mask.

1. Draw the needed shape using Pen tool

2. Create Clipping Mask: Object -> Clipping Mask -> Make or Ctrl/Cmd+7

3. The shape will lose its attributes (None for Fill and Stroke) and hide all unwanted object parts.

Send it back: Object -> Arrange -> Send to Back (Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+[ )
