Collect for Exports -> As Multiple Assets NOT working.

Community Beginner ,
Jun 09, 2022 Jun 09, 2022

Hello,

I noticed this issue I believe in the last update. This is a major time-killer if I cannot get this resolved. Hopefully I am doing some bone-head mistake somewhere.

I have a bunch of icons, named in the layers panel. If I select multiple icons, right click and select "Collect for Exports -> As Multiple Assets, it does what "As a Single Asset" does. See the attachment. Also attach is the system info text file. This is clearing not doing what it was before. I tried resetting my preferences with no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your timely response.

David

I believe I discovered the issue. The file must be somehow corrupt. I opened a different file and everything worked fine. Although somewhat cumbersome, I will transfer all the assets to a new file and go from there. Thanks for you assistance.

Hello @David24366691d30x,

Thanks for reaching out. After you have added the icons to the Asset Export window make sure you have the icons highlighted in the window itself before you export and check if it works.

Hi there

I believe you misunderstood my description. If you look at the image I posted, I attempt to add multiple objects to export. When I try that, it lumps them together as a single asset for export. And if I attempt to add individual objects, it does not include the name of that object in the Asset Export area. It just assigns a generic name like "asset 1"
