Color cast after exporting a cmyk Illustrator image to tiff
Hi,
I am getting a sepia color cast after exporting a cmyk Illustrator image to a tiff. I first convert the photo from color to black & white in Photoshop using Adjustments/Black and White. It is an RGB file in Photoshop. Then I place it in Illustrator and it becomes a cmyk image. I then export the illustrator file to a tiff. Some of the photos in the tiff are a sepia color. Why does it do this and how can I fix this problem? I have a large number of these, so I can't redo them. The tiffs will finally be placed in InDesign so they can go to the printer. They will be printed on paper and as pdfs. Any ideas on the cause and a fix? Will the color cast cause a problem in printing?
Thanks,
Paul
